The 26-year-old is prepared to leave Catania, but only if a ‘top club’ comes calling.
“In June, he will only leave Catania to go to a top club,” Dario Bombini told Itasportpress.it.
“On a technical level, I think the Premier League would be better for Maxi than La Liga or the Bundesliga.
“But it depends on the offers that are likely to come from Italy and the rest of Europe.”
Bombini insists Lopez will not be joining Real Madrid.
“What would happen if Real Madrid called? There is no chance he would go there,” added Bombini.
“His heart still beats for Barcelona after his experience at Camp Nou.”
