Deportivo may sell the defender in order to raise some much needed funds.
“At the moment there is nothing concrete and I am calm. It would not be great if I was the one that had to leave, but if a good offer came in and Lendoiro liked it, then we would have to see what was best for everyone,” he told AS.
“If I have to leave Deportivo then I will do it with a clear consience and if I stay, then I will continue to give everything I have to the team.
“It all depends on Lendoiro and if he wants me to go or stay.
“But on many occasions there has been talk of two or three players leaving and then they do not. But, as I have said, if I do have to go then it will be to a big club because Lendoiro will ask a lot.
“I am not obsessed by it all, though, as I am very comfortable at Depor.
“When I was at Espanyol there was always talk that I would leave and that they would sell me to raise money, but in the end my contract ran out.”
