The French side lost 3-0 at the Bernabeu in the second leg of their Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
“We are obviously disappointed about our loss,” the midfielder told Francefootball.fr. “The match went relatively quickly because we allowed space for Real Madrid players to run into.
“We failed to keep the ball high up the ground, giving our defence some reprieve. We also failed to finish off our chances.”
He added: “They moved the ball around with speed. And when you know the individual quality of the four people up front, they are difficult to stop.
“The best team won.”
