Malaga are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer and the 27-year-old is reportedly among their main targets.
“Toulalan is a player who we like a lot and we are very interested in signing him. We hope that we will soon reach an agreement. The ball is in the player’s court now,” Malaga’s Jose Carlos Perez was quoted as saying.
Toulalan’s current contract at Lyon is set to expire in the summer of 2015.
