Roma director Franco Baldini has revealed the midfielder has signed a new five-year contract with the club.
“De Rossi? The people in Rome have been very patient, but I can now tell them that he has signed a new five-year deal,” Baldini said to reporters.
“We are working on a big project here and Daniele wants to be part of our ambitious plans. We might need some time, but are aiming high.”
The details of De Rossi’s new deal will be announced on Monday.
