Aguero is set to undergo a medical ahead of his proposed £38million move from the Spanish side to Eastlands.
Aguero confirmed earlier in the summer that he was keen on leaving Atletcio Madrid this summer.
The Argentina international joined the Spanish side from Independiente in 2006.
