Salsano has revealed that manager Roberto Mancini was interested in signing Hamsik when the Slovakia international was at Brescia. Mancini was at the time in charge at Inter Milan.
“I was the one who used to go and watch Hamsik for Brescia,” Salsano told Radio Crc.
“Hamsik has become an important player with the right experience, while Lavezzi is devastating and can hurt people in one on one situations.”
He added: “They are players we like because our objective is to do great things and win.”
