Manchester City are in talks with Shakhtar Donetsk’s Brazilian midfielder Elano over a £7m move, says the Daily Mirror.
Elano has became a key men in the Brazilian national side over the past couple of years and City boss Eriksson is keen to bring him to England.
Ukrainian side Donetsk is not keen to sell Elano.
