City face German giants Bayern Munich, Spanish side Villarreal and Italian side Napoli following the toughest draw in the Champions League group stage.
“When the Champions League music starts on Wednesday night, I’ll be humming along,” said Hart.
“As a club, players and fans, we’re looking forward to it. It’s really exciting and we can’t wait.
“Some of my closest friends, the England lads, have played in the Champions League, so it’s a big thing to be there as well.
“It’s something we’ve been striving to do. You can’t get any better than winning in Europe.
“There is belief that we can do well – we’re not fearing anyone.
“It’s vital that we’ve got players who have been there and done it in the Champions League. It is going to be a step up in class, but we’ve got quality.”
