Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Mancheser City have all been involved in the title race this season.
Barry told talkSPORT: “If you look at the race for the Premier League and the way results have gone this season you can tell that there aren’t just one or two teams running away with it, winning week in week out.
“Every game has been tough for each club in their own way really and next season it’s going to be even closer. Liverpool will probably sustain a challenge and a longer one, they’ve started slowly this year. Spurs are without the Champions League, they’re going to be even stronger.
“Again, it’s going to be a really tough league and maybe six clubs will be challenging for the title.”
