Bianchi, who impressed last season in Serie A, will join City for £8.8million, according to the Italian club.
The Serie A club expect the 24-year-old to complete his move to the Eastlands on Wednesday.
The Italian will become new City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson’s first signing.
