Spurs will be 11 points behind United if the visitors win at White Hart Lane.
“They (Spurs) are a great side and I think everyone has been really impressed with the style of football they play,” the centre-half said in the Manchester Evening News.
“They are really attacking and Harry Redknapp has built up a great squad, it’s not just a first XI.
“It is going to be a really tough game when we go there.
“For us they are all important games, but if we can beat Tottenham, you would think we might rule them out.”
