The Daily Mirror reports that Hargreaves will be included in Fabio Capello’s squad for the World Cup due to Gareth Barry’s ankle injury.
Barry will be out of action for a minimum of four weeks after damaging ankle ligaments during the clash with Spurs on Wednesday.
England medics reportedly fears Barry’s injury is even worse.
