Blanc has been linked with the job as France national team coach, but Fergie believes the former United defender is ‘too young’ for such a role.
Fergie told Canal+: “I think he is too young to become a national team coach. I think Laurent has a lot of things to do before taking this kind of role.
“This is his first season as a champion and managing his team in the Champions League; he should stay in Bordeaux.”
