The Sun reports that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to offer Young a whopping £100,000-a-week at Old Trafford.
An England insider told The Sun: “Him moving to Manchester United was the talk of the dressing room.
“You can see why United want him.”
Young’s current contract with Villa is set to expire at the end of next season, but it is expected the 25-year-old will leave Villa Park this summer.
Liverpool and Tottenham are also keen on signing the winger.
