He told the Benfica issue of United Review: “I think we’re improving as each game goes by. I consider us to be one of the biggest teams around and we’ve got as a good a chance as anyone to win the whole thing.
“We’ve got a fantastic group of players and at the moment we’re playing some marvellous football, some great football,” he added.
“Throughout the squad we’ve got quality players and day-to-day, match-by-match as the season goes on we’re showing just how good we are.
“The position we currently have in the Premiership backs that up.”
