Manchester United are considering a player swap with Barcelona, proposing Jadon Sancho for Raphinha.
This idea comes in the wake of disciplinary actions against Sancho, who has been sidelined by United’s manager Erik Ten Hag and was not paid his scheduled salary on November 1st.
Given the challenging task of reclaiming the £85 million spent on Sancho, United is contemplating a player-for-player trade with Barcelona, according to Spanish outlet SPORT.
Under this plan, Sancho would move to Barcelona, and Raphinha, who has had a mixed performance since joining Barcelona and was hampered by a recent injury, would head to Old Trafford.
The feasibility of this exchange may well depend on Deco’s input, given his dual roles as Barcelona’s sporting director and Raphinha’s ex-agent.
