Cleverley has been out of action since October with a foot injury.
But United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Cleverley will be involed against rivals Liverpool.
“Tom’s training well. We were disappointed the Chelsea Reserves game was called off on Monday. But he’ll be involved tomorrow,” said Ferguson.
Ferguson has also confirmed that Chris Smalling is available again, but Phil Jones will miss the game.
“There’s not much change on the injury front for us,” added Ferguson. “I think Smalling could be available, but all the rest is as it was last Sunday.
“Phil Jones got a knock against City, which he never quite recovered from, but he’ll be fit for the Ajax game.”
