United have had scouts to watch the youngster in action several times this season. Alba’s current contract with Valencia expires in 2013 and his buy-out clause stands at £17.5million.
“I am happy in Valencia, and want to enjoy this moment,” said Alba.
“I prefer to avoid the pressure from these rumours and only live each day to try and progress
“Now I would see it very difficult to leave Valencia.”
Alba’s representatives have confirmed thhey had heard of United scouts watching their client in action.
“Nobody from Manchester United has contacted us, the kid is calm and is only focused on Valencia,” sources close to his agents Vicente Fores and Jose Maria Tarraga confirmed to Sky Sports.
