The 22-year-old has impressed for Sporting Lisbon since joining the Portuguese side from Utrecht in the summer.
United coach Mike Phelan recently claimed the club were keeping tabs on the young Dutch striker.
“I will stay in Portugal for at least two years,” Van Wolfswinkel said. “I came here to win trophies and I believe I can do that here.
“I will not leave. I signed a five-year contract and I am happy at Sporting. There is no reason to leave – the fans are fantastic and I am having a great time.”
