Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat is reportedly keen on joining Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid.
The 26-year-old would prefer a move to Madrid and Simeone, as he believes that the Argentine would improve him the most as a player, according to Spanish outlet Sport.
The Fiorentina star has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks as manager Erik ten Hag is looking to strengthen his options in midfield.
Fred is reportedly close to leaving United, with Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay also being linked with moves away from the club this summer.
Amrabat has also attracted interest from West Ham, Liverpool, Barcelona, Juventus and Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli this summer.
