Nani will be welcomed to the club by manager Sir Alex Ferguson and assistant Carlos Queiroz and undergo a medical today.
He said: “The English championship is completely different to ours, but it is always good to play for a great club.
“I am very anxious because I want to know everything about Manchester United and how big a club it actually is. I know that I will always have to give my best every day, every game.”
