Manchester United are reportedly working on a deal to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.
The Athletic reports that United are working on a loan move, rather than a permanent deal, due to FFP.
Amrabat is under contract at Fiorentina until 2024, but the club holds the option of another year.
The reports claim Amrabat would be keen on a move to Old Trafford before the transfer window closes on Friday.
The Morocco international has been strongly linked with Amrabat throughout the summer, but the likes of Liverpool, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ahli have also registered their interest.
