The 17-year-old has admitted that he has ‘always been a Porto fan’.
“I have always been a Porto fan,” Brandao told Maisfutebol. “I cannot choose because both clubs are so important to me, my feelings are confused. The best team shall win.
“I am yet to [speak about the game with fellow Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani] but I understand that for Manchester United it will be a settling of scores.
“Nobody at Old Trafford forgot what happened five years ago.
“My team-mates believe that it is going to be easy for Manchester United, but there is no need to remind them what happened in 2004,” he added.
“They have been showed videos of Hulk, and they were impressed by what they saw. Nobody knew him and now they are aware that he is Porto’s best player.”
“Manchester United are a top team, indeed, but I sincerely believe that Porto can win,” he said. “If Porto manage to control Cristiano Ronaldo, then I think that they can win at Old Trafford.”
