His agent, Giorgio De Giorgis told Tutto Mercato Web: “Roberto and president Moratti have a very close relationship and they have already verbally agreed terms on the deal – it only needs to be formalised.
“For us, there’s been too many rumours about this issue – most of which have been invented. Roberto wants to stay with Inter, currently the best team in Italy, for their level of management and team potential.
“He has never made it a secret he’d like to one day coach abroad. But this doesn’t mean there’s been direct contact with clubs, or that he is trying to get away.”
