Mancini now wants a future in London.
“At the start it was a shock,” he confessed to Max magazine. “Perhaps because of the tension I had accumulated, or the anger and disappointment of the firing, I just could not accept the idea of suddenly being out of my world after a lifetime in football.
“Then, a little bit at a time, I got over it. I can see that every now and then it is healthy to relax and every day that goes by I feel better.”
He continued: “I won’t talk about Inter, I will only say one word: Scudetto. This was already the strongest team for the last two years, so they will certainly win again this season.”
Mancini has been linked with QPR and Fulham recently and he has admitted that he has Premier League dreams.
He added: “I will stay in London until I speak perfect English, but there is nothing concrete in terms of job offers yet.”
