Marotta revealed, after their 1-1 draw with Chievo, that they are not interested in signing AC Milan bound Antonio Cassano.
“Cassano to Milan? We are covered in that role. Our project going forward is different to Milan’s,” the sporting director said to Sky.
“Obviously, there are players that exist that are better than us, but in January, we must take advantage of the opoortunities that present to us.
“Today, we had eight new players on the field, with two 18-year-olds on the pitch. We deserved to win, but this football.
“At the moment, what matters is how the side are playing and not the position on the ladder.”
