Marotta has held talks with Juventus general manager Jean-Claude Blanc and was offered a five-year contract as director general.
“I am flattered by the interest from Juventus, but at the moment I remain a Sampdoria director,” Marotta told Sky Italia.
“In the transfer market for directors it is much the same as for players, as that which does not happen today could well happen tomorrow.
“I am very tied to Sampdoria and the Garrone family.”
