The Argentina international defender suffered the injury, following a tackle from Germany ace Lukas Podolski during his country’s midweek friendly win.
“Victim of a tackle by Lukas Podolski on Wednesday against Germany, Gaby Heinze had an X-ray this Thursday on his return to Marseille,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
“The verdict established a crack at the head of his right fibula.
“The OM medical staff indicate that his unavailability is set to be a maximum of three weeks.”
