Materazzi believes the Brazil international is ‘one of the biggest talents around’.
“I don’t think Tevez will come. We should take Pato. I’d take him right away. He is one of the biggest talents around in my opinion,” Materazzi said in an interview to RMC.
He added: “Obviously, you’d have to wait and see whether it’s a possibility, but that’s up to the club. Either way, I’d always take Pato if the opportunity is there.”
Pato was strongly linked with a move to French giants Paris St. Germain last week.
