“Today, on the field, we deserved to win, but it seems that it had been written we would lose,” Mazzarri told Sky Italia.
“Some incidents worked against us, I’m not talking specifically about the referee or the posts and crossbar, but you can see we were unlucky. We have always believed in ourselves, even with ten men, so it will not always end like it did today.”
