McCarthy said in the Daily Star: “I do not know anything about a move to Chelsea.
“This is not the first time that people have linked me with Mourinho. He was my trainer at Porto and it is normal that he speaks well about me.
“I believe that I have completely adapted to the English game and have hit my best form of the season. I can achieve good things with Blackburn.
“We need to start thinking about bigger things and fighting for a place in the Uefa Cup.
“I want to keep on scoring goals and the game against Arsenal will be a special one for me because they are one of the big teams in English football.”
