Monaco have already signed Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez, Joao Moutinho and Ricardo Carvalho. There was a hint though that they could still spend if a major name becomes available for transfer.
“The president [Ryobolovlev] isn’t just here for one season; he’s here to build a strong team,” said Vadim Vasilyev. “I think we’ve already stitched up the most important transfers, so our recruiting is over for the time being, unless a very promising possibility presents itself.”
