City are reportedly keen to bring the defender in on loan until the end of the season.
“There is a concrete interest from Manchester City for Motta,” the agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, told Romagiallorossa.com.
“I don’t think the deal will arrive today because Roma are playing on Tuesday. We will see what happens over the next few days.”
Motta is co-owned by Roma and Udinese.
“It’s too early to speak because Udinese, Roma and Man City all need to agree on a deal,” he concluded.
