Rooney recently handed in a transfer request at Old Trafford and incoming Man Utd manager Moyes has a fractious relationship with the player as a result of the player’s departure from Everton.
“I don’t watch all Manchester United games,” he said at the Cambridge Union Society. “But he is definitely one of the best players in the world.”
