Fonseca has held talks with Lazio president Claudio Lotito over new terms as Muslera’s current contract expires in 2011.
“I hope everything goes for the best. I have spoken to Lotito, and I hope there are no surprises,” Fonseca told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have been speaking to the president and there have been important signs. He knows our will is to proceed with Lazio.”
