TMW reports that the Italian side could make a move for the midfielder in the January transfer window.
Birsa’s contract at Auxerre is set to expire in the summer of 2011 and the French side would be keen on selling the midfielder in January.
Auxerre could risk seeing the 24-year-old leave the club for nothing when his contract expires at the end of the season.
