Real Zaragoza have held talks with Real Madrid over a move for Negredo.
The player’s agent, Alejandro Camano, told El Periodico de Aragon: “Now it is a race between Hull City and Zaragoza.”
The reports suggest Italian side Roma have failed with their move to sign the 23-year-old on loan.
