Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness claims Neuer wanted to join them this summer, but the 23-year-old insists he is happy at Schalke.
“I have never spoken in person to anybody of Bayern Munich concerning a potential transfer,” he told Kicker.
“This would be quite useless, in fact. I am a Schalke player and I am fully committed to my club. I am going to be in between the Schalke posts and my contract is long-term.
“I have been praised by Felix Magath and I am really glad to hear such praise.
“I am delighted and I share his ambition to win the Bundesliga with this club. The people of Schalke are waiting to win the trophy for a really long time now and I can also not wait to see it claimed.
“It’s great to add something to it with performances and I am fully out to help the club to achieve it.”
