He said: “I had received a few offers recently, but I didn’t have to think twice about coming here to Udine.
“I was contacted by the club at the end of the campaign, even if I did hear a few complimentary things said about me by officials back in December.”
He added: “I need to thank Catania for letting me work so well over the last 24 months, they allowed me to be noticed by Udinese.
“Today I have arrived at a club which have done great things in Italy and Europe. Being at Udinese is the maximum for me.”
