Reports indicate that Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapie is considering a departure from Bayer Leverkusen.
Premier League giants Liverpool, Newcastle United and Tottenham are all showing interest in the defender.
According to Sky Deutschland, Hincapie’s desire to move stems from limited game time this season.
Despite his wish to leave, Leverkusen seems hesitant to release him, especially with key defenders Odilon Kossounou and Edmond Tapsoba set to participate in the AFCON in January.
As of now, there have been no official offers for Hincapie, whose contract with Leverkusen extends until 2027. The situation could potentially spark a bidding war among elite European clubs keen on securing his services.
