French international and Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is on the verge of signing a contract extension with the Italian side.
The 28-year-old, whose current deal with the Serie A club expires at the end of the current season, is expected to agree to new terms in the coming weeks, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Rabiot, who decided to extend his stay at Juventus for an additional year after his contract ended in the 2022-23 season, is presently earning €7 million annually.
Despite attracting attention from top Premier League clubs such as Manchester United and Newcastle United, Rabiot is inclined to continue his tenure at Juventus, likely maintaining his current salary.
A significant factor in Rabiot’s decision to stay is reportedly his rapport with Juventus coach Max Allegri.
