Sibierski is set to sign a new long-term deal with the Toons.
Roeder said: “He and Sol Campbell have proved to be the best out of contract signings from last summer in my opinion.
“We want him to stay here next year and I think he’s earned that extra season on his contract. It’s easy to fall in love with this club and he’s certainly done that.”
