Newcastle United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly this summer.
The Daily Mail reports that the Magpies are in talks with Kelly about a potential free transfer move.
The highly-rated 25-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with multiple sides across Europe.
AC Milan, Monaco and Stuttgart have also shown interest in Kelly, while Liverpool and Tottenham were interested in the defender in the January transfer window.
Newcastle reportedly see Kelly as a potential replacement for Jamaal Lascelles, who is also out of contract in the summer.
Kelly would be a good signing for the Magpies as he will join for free, making their work to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Regulations (PSR) easier.
