The People reports that the Magpies are ready to offer N’Zogbia £60,000-a-week to return to the club this summer.
Sunderland and Liverpool are also int he race to sign the Wigan winger this summer.
N’Zogbia left Newcastle for Wigan in a £6million deal in 2009.
Wigan want around £10million if they manage to avoid relegation this season, but are prepared to let the winger go for just £6million if they drop.
