Roeder said: “Charles has damaged the ligaments in his knee. We will have a better idea as to how long we think it will take him to recover by the middle of next week.
“But he is certainly going to be out over the next few weeks, certainly this side of Christmas. He doesn’t need an operation, it’s a question of physio treatment and then rehab and getting him back to full fitness. But that won’t happen this side of Christmas and it’s a real body blow for us and for Charles.”
