Niang joined Viking on loan from German side Wolfsburg this summer and has been a hit at the Norwegian side.
Niang signed a three-year-contract with Viking on Friday.
“I have signed a three-year deal with Viking. I am very happy that the negotiations went well. Now that I know where I will be playing next season, I can relaxe,” Niang told Aftenbladet.
