Mons Ivar Mjelde said yesterday that he will quit his position as Brann coach at the end of this season.
Brann chief Roald Bruun-Hanssen said yesterday: “We as a club have ambitions to be in the top of Norwegian football and that means we need to have a coach who can satisfy the ambitions.”
It has been reported that Brann would like to bring in an experienced coach to replace Mjelde.
Former Norway international coach Nils Johan Semb and IFK Goteborg coach Stefan Rehn have also been linked with the job.
