Nolan said: “We know as much as you guys but all the lads who are here at the moment have said that they want to stick with us and give 100% for Newcastle.
“Now if a club comes in and offers a ridiculous amount of money for someone then that could all change.
“We are 110% behind Chris [Hughton] and his staff and they are 110% behind us.
“As a team we have to stick together and hopefully try and get through to September without losing too many players.
“But one thing we will have to do if it stays the way it is, is to bring a couple of new faces in to freshen things up and to strengthen in places where we need to strengthen.
“It is big decision time for people upstairs.
“That’s up to them, we are just getting on with things on the pitch and they are doing their thing.
“We are not here to ask them to do anything, all we want is to produce on the pitch.
“But no one will find it difficult coming to this club. It is a fantastic club, it has great history.
“You’ve seen how many fans turned up at Tannadice and so if Newcastle United come calling for anyone, albeit we are in the Championship now, I don’t think many people will put the phone down.”
