Norwich have made five signings since being promoted, but Neil insists they are not desperate to make any more.
Neil said: “I didn’t know you knew about that one. He’s a player that has been discussed.
“There’s ongoing negotiations with quite a few players, not even just players but clubs and agents and different things like that as well.”
Neil are prepared to let Ricky van Wolfswinkel leave on loan, should they be able to sign a striker.
Norwich have signed Graham Dorrans, Youssouf Mulumbu, Robbie Brady and Jake Kean so far this summer.
